Well, that's what I like to be called. My given name is Laurie, but when you spell out my first and middle initials, L, you get ... Elle. Don't you love all that alliteration? I do! Maybe it's because I love writing and everything about the written word.

I published my first fiction book in 2014, and subsequently went on to become a certified developmental editor. I began publishing my journals and planners, which I sell on Amazon, in 2019.

I live in the beautiful wine county of Northern California with my Maine Coon cat, Sabrina. I love hot tea, books, reading, writing fiction and poetry, and learning graphic design. When I get the chance, I love drives along the coast, winetasting, thrift shopping, and taking in the gorgeous scenery of this special place I call home.
